Russ Tanner

Entrepreneur, educator, mentor

Russ started working at Snow College in 2019.  Before that, he worked in the business world, with over 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship, business management and Spanish translation.  Russ has a B.A. in Spanish Translation and a Masters of Business Administration, both from Brigham Young University. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

Russ's passion revolves around teaching principles and leading people to help them improve their own lives. He loves entrepreneurship, especially its power to transform the lives of people in the developing world.  He has worked throughout the U.S. (Utah, Idaho, California, New Jersey, North Carolina), Latin America (Argentina, Peru, Honduras, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic) and South Pacific (Samoa).  He has also been involved in several nonprofit boys ranches that teach young men the value of service, hard work and the outdoors.  Russ has had a lot of different jobs and made a lot of mistakes, which now he gets to share with you.

He and his wife Bonnie have five children and live in Ephraim, although they occasionally dream of moving to a cacao farm in Costa Rica.  They have spent an embarrassing amount of time watching K-dramas. Russ thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family biking, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, reading good books, eating delicious food, jumping on the tramp and having the occasional spontaneous dance party.

Kaili Ogden

Creative Entrepreneur and Snow College Alumni

Kaili vowed that one way or another she would return to Snow College - or at least to Ephraim.  As a Snow College alumni, the area holds a special place in her heart.  It was inside the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts that she learned how to turn her love of theatre and creativity into a career.  The mentors she found in Snow College's theatre program changed the course of her life forever.  She continued her education at UVU, receiving her Bachelors of Art in Theatre Production.

While at school, she experimented with various entrepreneurial ventures including writing and producing theatrical shows, digital marketing, event management, even a floral crafting business that sold at different venues within Utah County.

Now she's back at Snow College.  She is eager to share all she has learned and all she continues to learn with the incredible students here in Badger Nation.  Kaili believes that the secret to entrepreneurship is finding a community that you are passionate about serving and doing your best to meet their needs.  Her favorite part of being an entrepreneur is finding creative and innovative ways to marry passion and productivity.

In her free time, she enjoys writing, working in community theatre, watching scary movies, and playing D&D with literally anyone she can catch at a table.
