The GRIT Center at Snow College was funded by the Utah State Legislature and opened November of 2019. Here, through experiential learning, students develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Students have the opportunity to participate in diverse entrepreneurial programming and win funding to put their ideas into action through GRIT Center pitch competitions.

About the Event
After being raised on a dairy farm in Arizona for 12 years, his family moved their dairy operation to Payson, Utah where he attended middle school, Jr. High, and High school. During these years, he worked on the family dairy, earned his Eagle Scout, played soccer in High School and played the bagpipes in the High School band.
After he graduated from High School, his family moved to Texas where they stayed for a number of years. Rob stayed in Utah and attended Southern Utah University on a bag pipe scholarship. He was recruited to start SUU’s first bag pipe program, which made him a faculty member as a freshman student. He took a break from his schooling to serve in the Brazil, Rio de Janeiro mission for his church, followed by a stint in the Air Force during Desert Storm.
