The GRIT Center at Snow College was funded by the Utah State Legislature and opened November of 2019. Here, through experiential learning, students develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Students have the opportunity to participate in diverse entrepreneurial programming and win funding to put their ideas into action through GRIT Center pitch competitions.

About the Event
The same skills that can help you become a successful entrepreneur, also help you succeed in college and beyond. Empathetic listening, design thinking, problem identification, adaptability and creativity, effective communication, public speaking, resilience, goal setting, and learning to take initiative will benefit your personal and professional life regardless of the path you take! The GRIT Center for Rural Entrepreneurship at Snow College invites you to come enjoy a free lunch while you participate in a casual activity introducing one of these skills. We'll explain how you can participate in GRIT Center events and learning opportunities (and maybe even win prizes or money). Students from ALL majors are welcome. Lunches are hosted at different locations around campus throughout the year. No RSVP necessary.
Are you an instructor here at Snow? This event can support learning objectives in your class. We'd love this event to be part of your ciriculum, or an opportunity for your students to earn a little extra credit! Give Russ Tanner or TaraLee Cook a call at the GRIT Center to see how we can colaborate.
