About the Event

The Everyday Entrepreneur (EE) Program is the national leader in impact investing for community college everyday entrepreneurs. The EE provides education, funding, and mentoring support to aspiring entrepreneurs. In partnership with EE and NACCE, the GRIT Center for Rural Entreprenuership at Snow College is hosting an Everyday Entrepreneur Pitch competition for students and the community.

In order to be elligeable for the Everyday Entrepreneur Seed Track, entrants must be current Snow College students. Find full rules here.

Each team will have 90 seconds to pitch their idea, followed by 3-minutes of Q&A. The format will be explained in depth during a pre-competition evaluation session. Please be sure to use a valid phone number and email address to register for this event so that you can be contacted with more details.

The top team from the Seed Track and the top 3 teams from the Startup Track must agree to participate in the State Bank Business Challenge at the One Utah Summit in Cedar City, Utah, by meeting all Business Challenge deadlines.

■ Evaluation with GRIT Center — Thursday, September 14 through Monday, September 18, 2023

■ EE Seed Track Pitch Competition — Tuesday, September 19th at 5:00pm, GRIT Center

■ EE Startup Track Pitch Competition — Tuesday, September 19th at 6:30pm, GRIT Center

■ State Bank Business Challenge application deadline — Saturday, September 23 at 11:59pm

■ State Bank Business Challenge semi-finals — Monday, October 2, 2023, SUU Campus, Cedar City

■ State Bank Business Challenge finals — Tuesday, October 3, 2023, Cedar City
