About the Event

The Everyday Entrepreneur (EE) Program is the national leader in impact investing for community college everyday entrepreneurs. The EE provides education, funding, and mentoring support to aspiring entrepreneurs. In partnership with EE and NACCE, the GRIT Center for Rural Entreprenuership at Snow College is hosting an Everyday Entrepreneur Pitch competition for students and the community.

After attending the Everyday Entrepreneur - Workshop, eligible participants may enter the pitch competition to compete for a portion of $15,000 in cash and prizes .

Winners will receive coaching and advance to the semi-finals of the State Bank Business Challenge where they will compete for $50,000 in cash and prizes.

In order to be eligible for this pitch competition, entrants must be Snow College students OR have attended the Everyday Entrepreneur Workshop and be permanent residents of the Snow College 6-county service area (including Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, and Wayne Counties).  Non-students who do not attend the workshop must submit a 90-second video to be eligible for competition.

Each team will have 90 seconds to pitch their idea, followed by 2 minutes of Q&A. The format will be explained in depth during a pre-competition evaluation session. Please be sure to use a valid phone number and email address to register for this event so that you can be contacted with more details.

The top 5 teams must agree to participate in the State Bank Business Challenge at the One Utah Summit in Cedar City, Utah, by meeting all Business Challenge deadlines.
