The GRIT Center at Snow College was funded by the Utah State Legislature and opened November of 2019. Here, through experiential learning, students develop leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Students have the opportunity to participate in diverse entrepreneurial programming and win funding to put their ideas into action through GRIT Center pitch competitions.

About the Event
Entry into the Bootstrap pitch competition is open to all full time students. Come pitch your business idea, and win money to get started! Not interested in starting a business right now? Enter for the Directors Choice award as you work through the process.
- OR - Come join our audience and vote for your favorite business proposal. Hang out with other students, and have a chance to win GRIT Center SWAG.
All students, faculty, staff, and community are welcome to attend the Bootstrap Your Business pitch night on February 23rd @5:00pm in the GRIT Center, and vote for their favorite business. No RSVP necessary. Light snacks will be served.

To be elligeable for funding, you must complete three steps:
1. Register for this event, using the online registration form. GRIT Center staff will evaluate all submissions.
2. Meet with Russ Tanner sometime Feb. 15th - Feb. 21st (if your application is accepted you will receive an invitation for this appointment). Approved teams will advance to the Bootstrap Your Business pitch night.
3. Present your three-minute pitch to your peers at the Bootstrap Your Business pitch night on Feb. 23rd to compete for Audience choice funding for your business, or a Directors Choice prize.
